  • Went for a good run today. Got to burn off a lot of the calories I consumed this weekend. More posting in a bit.

  • I think I said this before, but work is picking up with the potential
of some cool upcoming projects. Aside from that, Chris' 20 pounds in 40
days doesn't seem to be working out because he stopped working out and
getting food poisoning made him eat nothing for a couple of days and
then a lot after he got over it. I'll be surprised if he looses 10
pounds by the time his birthday rolls around. But at least he found a
good place to host his birthday party that isn't at my place. I wasn't
so much opposed to it because of the mess it would leave, but rather
because I live in the middle of nowhere so it'd be inconvenient for
everyone to drive out to Poway while living along the coast from
Oceanside to downtown. It should be a rocking party though.
Friday night was spent watching the
Harlem Globetrotters at the Sports Arena. It was fun because it was
free! I also got to introduce the Surf n' Turf burrito to a couple more
friends. They enjoyed it thoroughly, requiring four people to consume 2
    burritos.
I went to Leslie's birthday party
last night and it was pretty fun. Unfortunately, I had to spend a lot
of my time babysitting Kevin because he isn't over 21 and D&B
requires that those under 21 need to have a 25 year old chaperone with
them at all times. So every time he went out to have a cigarette, I'd
have to go with him. Did a good job of drinking, eating and driving
though. Didn't have too much to drink, but enough to have a good time.
Monday was a day for recovery. Laundry. Cleaning the rat cage. Cleaning up my room, etc. Good times!

  • Friday Night Lights

Several things happened this week. We have a potential new project taking off at work. Which would be great, because I could get some titles shipped this year. It's great!
Matt (co-worker) had his birthday on Thursday. We went to a couple of bars and had a good time going out. Though Chris' diet isn't going as good as it could be. He needs to work out more. I'll be putting up the pictures on flickr soon enough. We got plenty of video too.
Additionally, I went to a great party last night at a co-worker's place. It was his move-in party. I left my camera at home, so there isn't much documentation, unfortunately.

  • Things that have been happenning? I've been spending a fair amount of time with Angela.
She's fun to hang out with, and is open to video games. That's hot!
Aside from that, we've been occupying our time at work with nerf wars. Very fun, but a bit annoying to non-participants at 3 pm. I don't know why?
Played pool with Dan on Friday night. Hung out with Angela on Saturday
night. Ate ate Bucca Di Beppo and watched Harry Potter 3. Sunday was
spent with Dan and Sunny and his Mom watching the Superbowl at Rossi's
pizza in San Marcos. Exciting, isn't it?

  • Another Saturday, another post! I know Chinese New Year is tomorrow, but I just don't have time to cook then. Since my dad will be back then, the kitchen privilege will be revoked. Poor me. Not really. I just went one day early and made this fantastic feast!
    Behold the tastiness!

  • So for the past two weeks, I've been going on some dates with this girl. And I had a good time with her. But, there were some things about being 21 instead of being 26. I'm sure by the time she's 26, she'll have it all figured out. At least that's my hope. I guess your first date on Craigslist in San Diego wasn't to bad. We had a ton in common, and still would say that I enjoy her company, but to think of how success it would have been as a long term relationship, it wouldn't be that good. So... anybody have a single friend available?

  • Fox should follow me around and have a show called, "When First Dates go Wrong."
On the first date with Mina back at Berkeley, we went to Castro for Halloween. It started off good, but we ended up stuck in San Francisco, with the BART closed and a taxi dropping us off in the middle of nowhere because he didn't want to cross the Bay Bridge. On to of that, I was very low on cash, and didn't know how I was getting home. We managed to catch another taxi, but Sarah had to bail me out. I'm surprised Mina even went out with me after that.
Yesterday, I met up with Cindy in La Jolla for dinner. After dinner, we had some drinks at the Living Room and then to Henry's for drinks and dancing. That girl drinks like she's got something to prove. So dancing was pretty good, but right around closing time, Cindy's purse got snatched and gutted. This quickly turned the evening to shit as she had to call all the banks and credit card companies at 2 am. It sucked for her sister who had to look up the phone number for her. Around 3 am, my buddy at the bar called and said that they had found the wallet and that I could pick it up tomorrow. So, I came in today, but apparantly they had passed all the wallets onto the Police, and it can't be picked up on Monday. Sounds great! Sign me up Fox, you're ratings will be great!

  • Time to change the stupid picture. To one less stupid with my buddy Geoff. This was taken at thanksgiving, and I think is a great picture! We're using this for our application. Will let you know more when we get our rejection letter, if we're fortunate enough to get even that. Anyways, those that are in the know, know what's going on. I'll be sending out the second version of our tape later tonight. Hope it is a bit better.
Work related stuff. My buddy Nick started working on Monday, and it's great to have a friend working with me. Not that my other co-workers are dull, but having a friend that I have history with is great. Though I guess in a couple of years, I'll have history with all of them. It's how it always turns out.

January 2, 2006

  • It was a relaxing week. Which is really good. I got a PSP for Christmas
as well as some other nice gifts from the Moss family. I was surprised
that Geoff out-ghetto'ed my wrapping efforts. I wrapped 4 of the 6
sides of his gift. He wrapped it in the bag from the store he bought it
    from. Hooray!
My biggest Christmas gift must have been the computer that I finally
finished. It's pretty much the computer of my dreams. I know that
sounds extremely geeky. And so I'll end this topic right here and now.
New Years was great. Until midnight. I made the same mistake as many
years before and decided that I wanted to drink some champagne. That
landed me on the toilet shortly afterwards. Quite an unpleasant
    following morning.
All of these adventures have been documented with amateur photography.
